Editorial Board

WIA Journal is in its early stage. Our editorial board and reviewer pool are being formed, and we welcome researchers who would like to take part.

Editor-in-Chief and Publisher

Yeon Sam-heum, Ph.D.

Editor-in-Chief; Publisher, CEO and President, WIA (World Certification Industry Association)

WIA publishes WIA Journal and is responsible for its operation and editorial policies.

The board is being formed

We are building the editorial board and the reviewer pool now. We will only list people here once they have agreed to serve, so this page stays short for the moment.

Editors on WIA Journal read new submissions, assign reviewers, and record decisions (accept, revision required, or reject). Reviewers read assigned manuscripts in their field and give the editor a considered, constructive assessment. Both roles are carried out under our editorial principles and ethics policy.

We especially welcome researchers who can review work written in languages other than English, since authors may submit in any language.

How to take part

Join the editorial board

Write to editor@wia.family with your name, affiliation, field of expertise, the languages you work in, and a short note on your publication or review experience.

Become a reviewer

Create an account and tell us your field of expertise. The peer review page explains how reviewing works on the site.

Who we are looking for

  • Active researchers with experience publishing or reviewing in their field.
  • People who can read and assess manuscripts in languages other than English, as well as in English.
  • Colleagues willing to give careful, fair and constructive feedback, and to declare any conflict of interest.
  • Researchers from any discipline, country or career stage who share our aim of making publication free and open to all.

Serving on the board or as a reviewer is voluntary. Questions about the roles are welcome at editor@wia.family.
